More Trams on the Promenade

More testing on the tramway has happened in recent days after the completion of track work between Pleasure Beach and Cleveleys. Centenary 641 was on test in it’s new all over orange base coat 30th March while 645 was out on the 1st April. After the removal of the Jet2.com advert the tram is now in allover red with front end white swoops.

Tramway Timetable Announced

Following the start of the tram service for 2010 the Timetable was finally published today (1st April). Due to vandalism to the overhead wires the full length will be Pleasure Beach – Cleveleys running every 20 minutes. The service is expected to be worked mainly by Centenary and Brush Cars although due to this infrequent timetable specials on busy days may be high. The timetable can be viewed on the right column.
